Informative Non-Fiction - Purpose to explain a topic or promotes an opinion

Expository Essays

- Offers information about a topic, for example, it explains a process, comments on an event, or a review of a theatrical or musical production.

Persuasive Essay

- advances an opinion or position
Describes a situation and then provides readers for believing or acting a certain way.
